"When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty."

In the face of the Trump regime's unprecedented attack on the Constitutional order and the rule of law, we are actively supporting resistance efforts as well as continuing our mission to elect candidates who support Democratic values. Below are pictures of some of our work for the Hands Off (April 5, 2025) and No Kings Day (June 14, 2025) protests.

Weekly lunchtime protests at Congressman Ben Cline's office (70 North Mason Street) on Thursdays, 12:00 - 1:30 PM. 
He might want to ignore us, but we are not ignoring what he is doing to undermine good governance and protect his constituents. 

Resistance alone is not enough. We must move our activism to the polls and give power back to the people. 

Harrisonburg Democratic Committee and Rockingham County Democratic Committee combine to sponsor "Stroll to the Polls."  On the first day of voting and the last Saturday before election day, we invite people to gather at Court Square and march together to their early voting location.
